RECEPTIVE SKILLS WORKSHOP

1. Select one of the websites  given by the tutor and propose an activity for your children to develop the receptive skills.

3. Listen carefully
4. Write as many words as you can  identify
5. Write the principal  idea of the story and 2 specific questions

    this is the story of aladin and the majic lamp.
    a man is angry, he is talking to some man, asking for some object back.
    teh genius comes.
    the girls ask aladin to marry the princess. he wants to be rich.

    aladin try to convince the sultan to give the girl´s hand. he offers the lamp.
    but she refuses to marry him.
    the lamp is stolen by the bad man. he wants the princess. he gets aladin small. but he wins the battle.

    Principal idea: Aladin is in love with the princess but she cant marry him because of a bad man. after a struggle aladin wins her hand.
    -what was the lamp?
    -where was the story?

    She cleans the house.

    his dream is to find love.

    The words that I could identify are:

    Forest, tree, pigs, wolf, houses, oldest, smallest, middle, brother, first, inside, hurried, lived, make, one, decided , ran , fell down, heels, chased, lazy, happy, awful,

    The principal idea is:In the forest lived three pigs who were brothers. The wolf always was chasing them in order to eat them. In order to escape the wolf, the pigs decided to make a house each. The smallest made his from straw, to finish first and go out to play.
    The middle one constructed a cottage from wood. Seeing that his little brother had finished already, he hurried to go and play with him. The oldest worked on his house of brick. The wolf behind the smallest pig and he ran up to his straw cottage but the wolf blew and blew and the straw cottage fell down.
